Melancholy : Intro

“Hope is sweeter when sadness speaks first.”

Melancholy : A series of spoken word, music and art.

The intent of writing in the theme of melancholy is not to romanticize sadness, but to redeem it in a way that’s balanced. Neither demonized nor dwelled in.

A bridge between melancholy and mercy.

Suffering is sometimes a tool God uses in the sanctification process. It’s also a tool I use in my creative process because art helps me process, suffering.

Deep peace and a sound mind do not have to be absent, even in sadness.

& true joy can never be overwhelmed or replaced, regardless of circumstance.
